I’ve been painting my entire life, but started taking it a bit more seriously when applying for schools my senior year. Painting became an integral part of my life when my mother became my ancestor in 2023. That’s when I began to understand the art as a language.
I started in 2020, during quarantine, practicing on my little cousin who encouraged me even before my designs were what I’d consider “pop-up ready
