Through henna, live art, and original paintings, my hope is to create experiences that invite connection—with yourself, your community, and the stories that continue to shape us.

Henna is more than a design—it's an invitation to slow down. Rooted in ancestral tradition, each session creates space for stillness, conversation, reflection, and intentional self-expression. Using organic, hand-mixed henna and sustainably sourced jagua, every experience is thoughtfully crafted to honor both the moment you're celebrating and the person you are becoming.

Henna is for everyone, and AceHenna especially values sharing the art of henna with BIPOC communities that have not traditionally been exposed to this ancestral art form. I seek to offer these services to all who are looking for a moment to call their own, space to be, & experience freedom of expression through this practice of adornment.

Presence Pieces allows attendees to focus on their lived experience, allowing the capturing of a moment without cameras or screens.

Unifying the experience through quick & free translations of mark & feeling, these works allow attendees to be fully present & have a keepsake of your gathering to experience through a visual that lasts a lifetime.

This offering is for anyone looking to create an experience not centered around people having their phones out to document. For anyone prioritizing presence within a moment & experience!

Presence Pieces feature Ace creating one, custom creation (ink-drawing or painting) during the duration of an event or gathering to be completed within 48 hours of the event. This booking includes the option of creating prints for attendees to keep!

  • One original live artwork created during your event

  • Choice of an ink drawing or painting

  • Available sizes ranging from

    8" × 10" to 30" × 40"

  • Original artwork completed within 48 hours of your event

  • Optional keepsake prints for guests (physical or digital)

  • All organic ingredients are used within my henna mix :).

    If you are interested in booking and have any allergens to citrus or specific essential oils, please let me know in your inquiry!

  • Private appointments for henna & jagua are located near Downtown Durham.

    If you’d like to meet elsewhere, reach out for an inquiry! Travel fees may apply!

  • Prints are coming so soon! Keep an eye out or feel free to email me, we may be able to work something out :)

  • I started in 2020, during quarantine, practicing on my little cousin who encouraged me even before my designs were what I’d consider “pop-up” ready

  • Unfortunately no, Presence Pieces are specifically to be created in the moment at your event to capture the fullness of the experience

  • Only at select exhibitions; for now, I’m working on increasing my prints catalog!
