ART BY ACEHENNA
Every Piece Begins With Conversation—
between memory, ancestry, grief, joy, and the quiet moments that shape who we become.
THE STORIES I PAINT—
Every body of work begins with a question rather than an answer. I'm drawn to the spaces between identity and belonging, softness and resilience, remembrance and becoming. My paintings often begin with a feeling long before they become an image.
They are reflections of lived experience, ancestral memory, and the people who continue shaping me—even in their absence.
My hope is that these works become mirrors rather than answers. That someone, somewhere, sees themselves reflected in the vulnerability, beauty, and humanity held within each piece.
